Oyo Eagle House Hotel, St Leonards Hastings, Hastings

The hotel was spacious and comfortable but in bad need of a revamp. The rooms were in dire need of renovating, with a small bathroom and a shower tray that didn't drain quickly enough. The service was genuinely lovely, especially from the chef and waitress who were attentive and always smiling. The location was OK but lacking sea views, although very close to the train station and with a free onsite car park. The dining experience was basic with limited options but the food was tasty and filling. The facilities need improvement.

The hotel is conveniently located just a mile from the pier and town center, offering easy access to shops and takeaways. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. However, some noise disturbances affected my overall stay. The dining area was clean, and the hotel has a nice garden view from the bedrooms.

The hotel provided us with a better room option when we found mould around the window and wall, both equipped with large clean shared bathrooms. The spacious bath was a great feature. The service was incredibly helpful and pleasant, especially when we needed a travel cot. The location offered a delightful view of the garden, away from the town center but still superb. The dining experience was good overall, although with limited healthy choices. The facilities were well-maintained and convenient.
